I am 68 yr. old scheduled for d&c. because of endometrial thickness of 10mm and biopsy showed irregular tissue, not enough to evaluate. i had lumpectomy nov. 2022 for dcis. what are my odds that the d&c will identify cancer ? or something else?

A D&C is appropriate for a "10 mm thickening" of endometrium, and is done to insure that endometrial cancer is not the cause. Even if the biopsy is positive, treatment is effective. Your GYn physician can recommend a GYN oncologist for guidance.
