I am 52 years old male person my both ear drums are perforated almost ten years ago and doctor advised me to undergo surgery,occasionally it oozes (pus or water). my hearing capacity has dwindled,now can i use over the ear headphones with low volume?

Best would be to obtain a referral to an ENT physician to determine possible treatment to see if ear drums might be repaired. It is unlikely for more damage to be incurred using headphones.
