Why does gravity not work in the bladder? male intermittent cath goes in the bladder opeing and urine comes out and stops. push further in and more urine and stops. & on & on. if there are many layers of water where would the sup pubic find all urine?

Hopefully a urologist on this panel will advise you. I've never encountered this problem but wonder if momentary bladder spasms play a role in the start and stop pattern of urine flow through the catheter.
