A member asked:

For at-home colorectal screening tests, does participating in receptive anal sex impact results and/or ability to use these screening methods? if the methods can still be used, does the patient need to abstain, and if so, for how long?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

If there is no trauma or bleeding from receptive sex then there is no affect on test or results. If concerned abstain the day before the test.
