The vast majority of oral HPV infections cause no symptoms. Warts can occur, but very rarely. There is no standard test and none recommended for people without symptoms. There's nothing to be done for positive results without symptoms, and in that situation there is no treatment. However, this is somewhat controversial and someday oral HPV testing may be advised in certain circumstances.
