If your symptoms are related to an infection, then antibiotics might help the situation but the skin can scar and this may not go away with antibiotics. If you think there may be an infection present, you should have this diagnosed by a doctor so the best antibiotic can be chosen. Then, if scarring occurs, a dermatologist may be able to treat it. See a dermatologist for rosacea treatment.
