Maybe: There is some controversy as to whether custom insoles are beneficial or not. Certainly there are not many good studies proving their efficacy. My opinion is to try an off the shelf insole first, or an off the shelf moldable insole, before considering the considerable expense of a custom insole.

May need orthotics: You may have a foot problem that is being passed "up the kinetic chain." see a podiatrist for a recommendation on if orthotics could be right for you.
