Is it possible for a syphilis chancre to disappear within a week? i had a large fleshy swelling inside the inner cheek which reduced and had a white layer on top and ended as a tiny ulcer then went. had a negative test at 9 weeks. thanks?

A chancre might clear as soon as a week, but it would be unusual. In any case, your negative test result proves it wasn't syphilis.
