I have a big parotitis abscess and its draining puss from a tiny opening. i could feel more puss needs to come out. if i were to apply polysporin on the abscess, will the tiny opening heal and seal and prevent the remaining puss from coming out?

A bacterial abscess is usually treated with systemic antibiotics, not with topicals. Are you being treated by a dentist/oral surgeon/physician? If not, you should be.
