You should take a non-sedating antihistamine instead, like Claritin. Since both flexeril and Benadryl are sedating, the combination can cause more severe sedation and risk respiratory depression. This means your breathing could slow down to dangerous levels. So, take a non-drowsy antihistamine instead, like Claritin. Good luck!
