How accurate is the ana blood test. can covid produce a positive result?

It has been shown that covid infections can trigger the development of autoantibodies including ANA. Many patients with positive ANA tests turn out not to have autoimmune disorders or symptoms. The ANA is only a part of the process in diagnosing lupus,for example. The clinical findings also have to fit in order to make the definitive diagnosis.
