HIV doesn't cause urethritis or such symptoms. Any new STD, including NGU, should be followed by HIV testing. It's unlikely you have it, but better safe than sorry.

If I am clean and my wife is clean, how come i got a possitive ngu (non-gonococcal urethritis)result while she is negative when we have a check up?
Dysuria with Multiple first void urine UAs and UA microscopy found no evidence of inflamation and 0 WBC. If its NGU/urethritis would these these tests would have shown elevated leukocytes/WBC?
One more follow up in reference to unprotected oral sex (girl on guy) and being treated as a precaution with one shot of rocephin and doxycycline. Does doxycycline treat nongonococcal urethritis (NGU) as well?
