For ~1 month, have increased nasal congestion. can clear it in morning. drainage yellow, thick,blood-tinged in 1 nostril sometimes,& not salty anymore. over last few days, my throat has been getting sore at end of day with pressure of swallowing. ?

The differential here would be postnasal drip from allergies or from a paranasal sinus infection. I recommend consulting an ENT specialist for evaluation and advice. Any appropriate testing will be ordered.
