My mother has very frequent headaches in which she takes medicines almost 3-4 days a week when i ask her to get a checkup she says that it's normal and has been through that from childhood. is it a matter of concern?

Analgesic induced chronic headache can't be ruled out. She should see a doctor or she can try to wean off the analgesic completely then headache can be cured. Good luck to your mom.

Your mother may suffer from Chronic Daily Migraines. You do not describe the "medicines", but a visit to a neurologist could start a medication that could break up the current pattern and prevent the headaches.
