My daughter is a epileptic patient.. she is taking recetam 4ml two times a day.. but her fits are not getting controlled. when ever she fell down n bump her head she cried n then in fit for 50,60 seconds?

Your daughter should be re-evaluated by a pediatric neurologist. In the mean time, please do your best to protect her from further falling or any incident which hurts her. Good luck.

If levetiracetam is in the serum therapeutic range, a second antiepileptic medication should be added. In the meantime, have her fitted for a helmet, which she should wear when up and about. Would have her bed fitted with protective bed rails. If satisfactory success is elusive, consider a second opinion.
