On one hand, this test was too early: at 18 days, around 80% of people with new HIV would test positive. OTOH, it proves 100% that HIV is not the cause of your symptoms, no matter how typical of a new HIV infection they might seem. It is not possible to have HIV symptoms with negative test results. Have another AgAb (4th generation) test at 4-6 weeks, but your symptoms are something else.
