A member asked:

I have pulsing sensation in the inguinal area for a month that does not go away. it started while lifting at job. could it be from the lower back, or an inguinal hernia? i cannot find anything unusual if touching. could it be somethin from the colon?

If there's true pulsations, the femoral artery may be what you're feeling. If so I recommend having an examination by your physician or a surgeon to check for arterial pathology or an occult inguinal hernia. I don't think back or colon issues are playing a role here.
