I took a meloxicam last night 7.5 mg at 6:00pm and drank coffee at 7:30am this morning. i found out you shouldn't mix caffeine and meloxicam. i am not going to take another. is it okay to drink coffee tomorrow morning? thanks?

Most of the information cautioning caffeine and meloxicam comes from individuals writing coffee blogs who have no training in healthcare. The medical literature itself does not suggest that coffee and meloxicam affect one another. Both may upset the stomach, so spacing them out by an hour or two might be reasonable. But there isn’t reason to think they can’t be taken the same day.
