A large salt intake can cause your blood pressure to rinse. If you stop eating a lot of salt, you will get rid of the extra salt and water in your urine and your blood pressure should come back down to your baseline, assuming you have normal kidney function. The extra salt causes water retention which is what increases the blood pressure. Good luck to you!
