A member asked:

Will cocaine show up in my hormone blood test if i did it the night before? or do they have to specifically do a drug test to spot that?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Blood tests are target specific, meaning their sample type and procedure used is focused around the issue being tested. Hormone tests look only for hormones. In most states you must sign an authorization for anyone to test you for drugs unless it is an expected part of pre-employment or employment programs. If the look for it the would find it, but that is unlikely in the cited activity.
