Bleeding with "dark blood and some blood clots" at "6 months of pregnancy" ,may be caused by placental partial separation the area surround the cervical canal. If the hospital visit did not do an ultrasound, contact your OB physician for an exam and guidance and additional testing. While this type of bleeding is concerning, it does not always mean a miscarriage.
