Im taking bupropion sr 75mg. im having a hard time swallowing the pill. i understand i cannot crush or chew. can i put the whole pill in applesauce to make it go down easier or will the pill disintegrate in the applesauce and lose effectiveness?

It should be ok to take the pill with applesauce, as long as you don’t crush or chew it because it is a long-acting pill. You can also ask your pharmacist if there is any other way to make it easier for you to swallow the pill-perhaps there is a formulation from a different company that is easier to swallow, for example. As long as the pill is taken right away after placing it in applesauce (or other soft food), taking it with applesauce is not a problem.
