A member asked:

Few (2) small hyperdense foci are noted in fifth and seventh of right lobe of liver - likely calcified granuloma , is it normal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Those calcified granulomas are themselves harmless but are from prior inflammation. I would ask your gastroenterologist or hepatologist for advice about what inflammatory process played a role in your liver granuloma formation and ensure that there's no active process going on at this time. Follow-up testing may or may not be advised.
