On depo since oct 2021 i started bleeding again so took northisterone and after the northisterone stopped i have had a regular period every month has the northisterone have re started my bleeding ?will it eventually decrease? am i protected still?

Depo shots are given every 3 months. If you have been consistent and have not missed any, you are protected. Many women report a lack of periods during the use of Depo shots for contraception. Northisterone contains similar hormones to that found in Depo, but is not used for contraception (does not protect). Talk to the Dr who gave you the Depo shot and discuss further treatment.
