Kissing never transmits HIV, or so rarely that risk usually can be ignored. Saliva rarely transmits HIV: for example, oral sex by an HIV infected person has never been scientifically documented to transmit the virus to the genital partner. If your kissing partner has HIV, it would make sense to be tested for reassurance. The AgAb (4th gen, "combo") HIV tests are conclusive after 6 wk, not 3 mo.
