Hiv- man received oral sex from hiv+ woman. i'm currently on pep which was taken ~70hrs after exposure and worried. hiv+ woman had blood on lips. what are risks? is pep still an effective treatment in this case?

HIV has never been proved to be transmitted mouth to penis; the risk was low. Still, with an HIV infected partner (if not taking HIV treatment) and possible blood exposure, PEP probably was a good idea. However, you started PEP quite late, i.e. reduced effectiveness compared with starting within 24 hr. Still, overall it is unlikely you will be infected. Follow up with your PEP doctor or clinic.
