Why does my scrotum tighten though out the day. it then goes loose again if i lie down?

It's not position but temperature. The testes are temperature sensitive. When they are getting too cool the scrotum will tighten up (think jumping in a cold pool) and when they are getting too warm the scrotum will loosen up.

Scrotum has a thin muscle lining and it shrinks and relaxes, making it loose or tight depending on many factors eg temp- tight when cols and loose when warm
