Hello. : Hello. First off, i cannot tell you why your scrotum is tight and the reason for the dull pain you are experiencing. The cremasteric muscle is situated in the spermatic cord structure. When the cremasteric muscle is relaxed your scrotum will be relaxed. The cremasteric reflex causes the muscle to contract in response to things like the outdoor temperature and being sexually aroused. If you are masturbating excessively, slow down. If you are wearing jeans or briefs that are tight, wear baggier pants and boxers. If you are bike riding a ton, take a break. If it is cold out, make sure you are warm enough. The issue may be quite benign, however if it doesn't resolve or the pain increases, please see either your regular doctor or a urologist.
