There are really no restrictions but if you have any symptoms during these activities you should identify the activity you were doing and what symptom you had so it can be matched up with anything that happens on the monitor that is abnormal, if there are any abnormalities. If there is a specific activity that caused concerning symptoms, you should do that activity with the monitor on.

The usual point of an event monitor is to determine whether or not there is any cardiac abnormalities during a particular type of event. Usually there are no restrictions, so that any event which may be occurring can be observed. Just be sure to note in your symptom diary what you were doing at any particular time. Good luck.
