Flies don't carry STDs and the risk of infection is no more than your touching the site with i=unwashed fingers.

STD means sexually transmitted diseases- so a fly cant do that. Flies can spread infections on open sores/ wounds not on intact healthy skin. You did the right thing by washing. You will be fine.
