It has to do more with your goals as one (Valium) is a prescribed drug, controlled and long lasting while the other is more of a recreational drug, accepted now as having possible health benefits on some patients. The combination is not medically recommended due to significant overlap in mechanism of action, best to confirm with your current prescriber.
