This sounds like you might have an inflamed Bartholin gland or something similar. From this description, you can be sure it isn't cancer. But you'll need to see a doctor, ideally a gynecologist. it is likely you need an antibiotic prescription, and perhaps minor surgery to drain it. Good luck.
