I was recently prescribed flucloxacillin for an infected leg wound after a fall. yesterday i saw a dentist, who told me i have a perichronditis of a wisdom tooth. i couldn't remember the antibiotic i was taking when asked, so will fluoxacillin work?

Flucloxacillin is often used with dental procedures and therefore this may cover the perichronditis. However, it is best to ask the dentisit if they would prefer to add another antibiotics as well because there would be a concern that you acutally got a dental infection while already taking an antibiotic.
