When i pulled a piece of tape off my arm, i pulled a red / dark spot from my skin that had just been there for a few weeks. the spot is completely gone, but now i'm afraid that this was melanoma. is melanoma/birthmark so easy to remove with tape?

Melanoma or squamous cell carcinoma - the two types of skin cancer - typically are not pulled off with tape. If it was only there for a couple of weeks is not a birthmark. Best to watch and see if it comes back. If not coming back, no worries.
