I can't imagine any effects like that caused directly by the B12 injection. I would still proceed with the planned B12 injection schedule until your serum B12 level is normal and then plan on a monthly injection or daily sublingual dissolving tablets as maintenance.

Skeptical that your B-12 injection would result in intermittent symptoms as described. You should have your next injection on schedule as it is important to elevate your blood levels ASAP. Contact your doctor and discuss all of this.
