My medication was changed from levothyroxine 25mcg to np thyroid 30mg. can this medication change affect my menstrual cycle? if so, how long would it possibly take to get on track or be trackable? i havent found any information on this yet. thanks?

Years ago we used dedicated thyroid made from pigs. 60 mgs and 90 mgs were popular doses to maintain normal thyroid status. In my experience, by 2 to 4 weeks an adequate response should be reached. The level of Levothyroxine may not be as precise in NP thyroid compared to modern thyroid medication though.
