A member asked:

I recently had lab work and my immunoglobulin g subclass level 4 level was high at 148 with the range being 4 - 86. what could this indicate? my symptoms are fatigue, joint pain and difficulty swallowing?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

According to my reading, elevated IgG4 levels are a marker for autoimmune pancreatitis or salivary gland disease. I wonder if this contributes to your swallowing issues. I would think your rheumatologist or an otolaryngologist would be best to answer this question.
