You need to see a gastroenterologist to be certain of the diagnosis and then to treat whatever they diagnose. Blood in the stool should always be investigated to be certain there is nothing serious going on-you may need a colonoscopy to look into the colon and see what the bleeding is from. It is important if you have chronic acid reflux to get the symptoms under control. Anti-reflux precautions and adequate medication are necessary. Also, you should have your G.I. bleeding evaluated. You should be seen by a gastroenterologist for both of these issues. Good luck.
