IgM is positive when there is an acute infection. So, to have a negative IgM means there is no acute infection. That doesn’t mean there is no exposure or that there is not a more chronic infection. You should have all the labs interpreted by the doctor who ordered the tests since that doctor knows your clinical situation best. Good luck to you!
