What is recommended to do when you have a septate hymen and is pregnant. how can this affect birth?

I would expect it not to matter until delivery is under way. At that point the vaginal outlet is often anesthetized with a local anesthetic & I would expect the OB to cut any tissue obstructing delivery. A simple episiotomy to widen the outlet is often done ant removing a hymenal remnant would be part of this.
