How long should i wait to have sex after an outbreak with no visible symptoms? advice usually says to wait some number of days after lesions heal, but i only feel itching and tingling with no lesions. i also take acyclovir?

Tingling and itching often can occur right before an outbreak of herpes occurs. If you have recurrent herpes or are taking daily acyclovir your outbreaks might become less severe over time and tingling, itching/pain may be your symptoms during an outbreak. I would wait to see if you get sores and if not, still wait until all the symptoms have resolved/ 7 days before having sex with condoms.
