That transient skin finding is less likely related to the mild basophilia. I won't worry much for now but would prefer a repeat CBC with differential in a month for ruling out persistent basophilia. If it persists, then your family doctor will plan the next step. Not uncommonly have I seen this transient change and most of the time the cause can't be found. Good luck.
