Pneumococcal pneumonia occurs with only slightly increased frequency in people with underlying health problems. If you're basically healthy, and without chronic heart or lung problems (like asthma, emphysema or chronic bronchitis) almost certainly this is just random bad luck and you'll be fine once you recover. Discuss with your doctor, including pneumococcal vaccine to prevent future recurrence.
