Any oral appliance that is removeable should be taken out before an MRI to avoid detachment and heating. A permanent appliance if well cemented should be fine but some artifacts could show up in that area.

Absolutely safe! Beside to see you Dentist at least every 6 months to evaluate the integrity of the seal holding the wire in place.
