I've had pain to right side of my navel, spreading to the right part of abdomen for more than 10 days.it comes and goes during the day. sometimes is stabbing other times dull.can you please help me figure out what this is or what specialist to visit?

You need to be examined to help figure out what this is from. You can start with your primary care doctor so that doctor can examine you and likely order an imaging test like a CT scan. If that doesn’t diagnose the problem, the next doctor would be a GI doctor. So, see your primary care doctor. Good luck to you!

It is impossible to sort out what is causing this pain just based on your description, but the first step would be to see your primary care doctor. If your symptoms are severe, you could go to the emergency room if needed. Good luck.

After 10 days of such symptoms, I 'd skip the middle man and directly consult an abdominal surgeon as he/she has much more experience in evaluating such persistent or recurring abdominal discomfort. Any appropriate testing will be ordered and I think you'll have more peace of mind.

Ther is a possibility that you might have an an incarcerated umbilical hernia. Best is to get checkrd out by a surgeon soon or go to the ER
