Having pain in right upper side of my abdomen for 6 hours now,started out dull and felt stabbing pain when i moved around , now it's persistent. loss of appetite and some flatulence. what can it be?

Right upper: Right upper abdominal pain occurs with gall stones, liver disorders and muscular inflammation. Since you're also experiencing appetite loss and gaseousness, gall bladder dysfunction is more likely. If there's associated tenderness gall bladder inflammation is also likely. Since symptoms are persisting, you should be examined in the emergency room where prompt testing is available.

Well : In general anybody with that that kind of right upper quadrant pain could have a serious problem Like acute gallbladder attack or infection. Seek mediate medical attention
