Will adapalene be less effective if you have a short/medium length beard? maybe a half inch beard. im wanting to use it for sun spots/aging. i have a pretty thin beard. is it a waste of time applying? is there a technique to apply with a beard? ty?

A beard is not going to affect adapalene's bioavailability though you may need to use a bit more because some will be retained by the beard. Adapalene is indicated for severe acne and has been used off label for rosacea. It is not a benign drug. Using it for skin spots isn't going to work and treating yourself with adapalene for aging skin at age 36 can only result in greater damage over time.
