The baby will likely not like the milk cold so it is better to warm it so the baby will take it. You can put the bottle in the microwave for 30-60 seconds and then put a few drops on your arm to make sure it is not too hot. If it is still not warm, microwave at 30 second intervals until it feels warm to you but not hot. Good luck to you!

Some babies actually like it cold, but it can chill the kid especially if they are small. I am leery of microwaving any bottle, many infants have ended up with significant mouth burns to the point of hospitalization when too hot. Pan warming to a validated temperature is a safe alternative unless the kid likes it room temp or cold.
