Where is this pimple located? Is it a single pimple or are their multiple pimples? If the pimple is located on your face/chest/arms/legs, it could be due to acne. If it is located in your genital area and you are sexually active, it could be a sexually transmitted infection, like herpes. So, you may need to see a doctor, perhaps a dermatologist, depending on where the pimple is located. Good luck!

Agree with Dr. Ferranti. Other possibilities of what this is: molluscum (a viral infection) which could be anywhere on the body, or if in the genital area, genital warts. This points out the importance of having these looked at to make the proper diagnosis and give the proper treatment.
