C reactive protein (CRP) is a reactive protein produced when there is systemic inflammation. It was 70 when there was significant inflammation; and it was measured serially to determine what was going on in the body and obviously the systemic inflammation went down because the body also heals itself by creating countermeasures to inflammation or other insults in the body.
